Professor Ove Tobias Gudmestad has been awarded as the recipient of the 2018 Jin S. Chung Award

The International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers, has  selected Prof. Gudmestad as the recipient of the Jin S. Chung Award for the year 2018.

This award is given annually, starting in 2006, to recognize outstanding creative and innovative contributions to the offshore, ocean and polar engineering fields. The award committee with members from Europe, Asia and North America received outstanding nominations from Asia, Europe, and North America, and evaluated documents of all the nominees’ professional achievements prepared by the nominators.

The award will be presented to Prof. Gudmestad at the 28th International Ocean and Polar Engineering Conference in Sapporo, Japan, June 10-15, 2018.
