NVP Summer School 2025 Postponed

The Norwegian Scientific Academy for Polar Research has announced the postponement of the 2025 Summer School, originally planned to be held in Svalbard in June. After extensive efforts to secure necessary funding, the Academy was unable to meet the financial requirements to host the summer school next year.

The decision to take a year's break was made during the board meeting on Monday 9 December, with the aim of establishing a more stable financing structure. The Academy is committed to resuming the Summer School in 2026 and is actively working towards ensuring the long-term success of our programmes.
